In addition to the subjects referred
to in this despatch, and those
which I have specially reported during the past
month,
my attention has been turned to a
variety of arrangements connected with this Island and it's future good
order and
management, but as all those arrangements
require much consideration and
necessarily require
time, and will likewise more
properly
come within
any
correspondence with Her Majesty's
Secretary of State for Colonies after
the
Ratifications of the Treaty shall have been exchanged, I think it needless to enlarge
further on Your Lordship at present.
